Filling out this application will not guarantee placement with a mentee. However, filling out this application will put you in a database of mentors that NDMEA can contact in order to pair new teachers coming into the field with the best possible mentor. Mentor and mentee pairs will be chosen based on content area, geographical location, and personality compatibility if possible. Pairings with mentors will be happening in early August.
New mentors to the NDMEA Mentor program will undergo a brief training prior to meeting their first mentee on how to conduct the year, leading productive discussions, asking leading questions, and to answer any questions prior to the year begins.
