Freaky Friday and Twice Charmed Audition Sign-Ups
Thank you for your interest in auditioning for a Proscenium Circus production! If you’ve auditioned for us before, welcome back! If this is your first time auditioning at Proscenium Circus, we’re thrilled to have you! Auditions are open to all current ABRHS students, whether you have never auditioned for us before or have auditioned for us several times, whether you’ve never acted before or are a seasoned thespian.
Proscenium Circus is committed to an inclusive casting policy of non-traditional casting and encourages all actors to audition. This production will be cast with actors of all races, ethnicities, gender presentations, and abilities in leading roles and in the ensemble. Artists of color are strongly encouraged to audition.
We look forward to seeing you on stage. Break a leg! This form serves as the first round of your audition, so think carefully about your answers.

What pronouns would you like us to use for you in this setting?
We are striving to build a community that is safer for everyone and inclusive for all people. We understand that safer means something different to each person. We want to best support you by referring to you in a way that feels like the best fit for this situation. We will do our best to address and refer to all students accordingly and will support you in doing so as well.
Please think carefully about what level of commitment you can make to this production and about your answers as they are weighed heavily in the decision making process. Roles with a large responsibility will be needed at nearly every rehearsal (3-4 times a week). Roles with a medium responsibility will be needed at most rehearsals (2-3 times a week). Roles with a small responsibility will be need for some rehearsals (1-2 times a week), and because of the nature of these shows, there are no small responsibility roles for this show. As always, there are many ways to get involved in PC if your commitment level is limited.
Would you like a role with large, medium, or small responsibility?
Large responsibility (Roles like: Ensemble, Katherine or Ellie, Stepmother or Jaq)
Medium responsibility (Roles like: Mrs. Meyers, King)
Are you willing to accept any role?
Yes, I know it takes everyone to make a show successful.
No. Only consider me for my top choice(s). If I am not cast in my top choice(s), then I understand I will not be cast in other roles.
What are your top 3 roles you would like to be considered for?
What draws and interests you about your top role?
Why would you be a good candidate for your top role?
Are you completely available for all performance dates?
It is important to know that any member of the company must be completely available for all performances. Because theatre is such a collaborative art, we cannot make any exceptions. Performances are 7:00 November 1; 2:00 and 7:00 November 2; 2:00 November 3; 7:00 November 8; 2:00 and 7:00 November 9

Do you have any conflicts with our rehearsals after school from 3:00-6:00? If so, please list the conflicts and their times.
By selecting all the times you are available, it gives you the best audition. We will carefully craft a balanced schedule that allows us to see everyone as much (and as equally) as possible! Thank you for your flexibility.
