Throughout the month of May, BLM is partnering with Northwest Community Bail Fund, Washington Community Action Network, and national Mama’s Day Bailout organizers to bail out moms and other caregivers who are in jail only because they cannot afford to free themselves.

Requirements
Black Love Bail Out has limited resources to bail people out of jail in King County.

Bail amount cannot be more than $3000

Bail can only be posted for misdemeanor charges

Bail may not be provided to individuals with a recent history of multiple failures to appear in court

Bail cannot be provided if the incarcerated person has warrants in other places

I understand this program does not apply to people facing felony charges *
