SWP Wildfire Mitigation Assistance Request Form 

The Superior Watershed Partnership (SWP) and the Great Lakes Climate Corps (GLCC) are providing wildfire mitigation services at NO COST for approved sites in all 15 counties of the Upper Peninsula. Services primarily include brush and small tree removal adjacent to buildings or infrastructure. SWP received grant funding from the US Forest Service to provide this important wildfire mitigation program. 

If you would like to be considered for a fire risk evaluation, please fill out the form below.   Your request will be reviewed by staff on a first-come-first-serve basis, and priority will be given to those locations deemed in highest fire risk areas (pine/conifer surroundings, dense shrubs and trees close to house, etc.).    Our crew will work with the landowner regarding all aspects of the project.
