Speaking Grey x Prairie Health - It's okay to medicate!
Just like any other health-related concern, sometimes medication is necessary to support our treatment and recovery journey. However, we still see a lot of stigma around medication for mental health conditions. This stigma not only prevents people from seeking treatment, but once they do, it also stops them from talking with their doctor about -- or even considering -- medication as a part of their treatment plan. The stigma also keeps people away from staying compliant with refilling and taking medication as prescribed. We aim to break the stigma around medication for mental health conditions and we invite our community to share their stories of #itsokaytomedicate. Share your story and encourage others. It’s not “weak” to take medicine to support your mental (or physical) health.

Please help us raise awareness by sharing your response to below questions and send it in a written (blog) or video form. You can answer as many or as little questions as you like (there is no obligation to answer all).
