Celebrating Youth Lounge Experience - Saturday, May 25th
To all of our family and supporters, please take a moment to fill out the below survey and let us know if and where you'd be able to help us in our final youth lounge celebration. We appreciate all the support you've given us over the years and we would like to celebrate with you on this final youth lounge experience. There are many options below for support either before, during, after our final celebration or in some other indirect way. Let's make this a night to remember: Spreading love, peace, community, collaboration and family!

I am able to volunteer BEFORE Youth Lounge Experience in the following areas (12-3pm):
Set up of the downstairs space (ie. decorating, setting up tables, organizing the clothing area)
Food Preparation (if needed)
creating gift bags (if available)
I am able to volunteer DURING Youth Lounge Experience in the following areas (4-7pm):
Mingling with youth, monitoring the room
facilitating groups and/or activities (ie art, movies, talent show, yoga, etc)
Manning the clothing station (refolding, organizing, helping youth find clothing, etc)
Greeting at the front door
I am able to volunteer AFTER Youth Lounge Experience in the following areas (6-8pm or Sunday May 26th):
Clean-up (sweeping, mopping, taking down decor, washing dishes, etc)
Bagging clothes for donation
Taking bags of clothing to other shelters / thrift shops (ie goodwill, buffalo exchange, plato's closet) <-- this can be done Saturday and/or Sunday
I would like to show my support in other ways:
Donating food or dessert for our final celebration
Donating gift bags and/or gifts for the youth who attend (i.e. bus cards, gift cards, headphones, small electronics, dollar store gifts, etc)
Picking up clothing bags to drop off at other shelters/ thrift shops
Finally - as we mentioned in our letter - this is not the END for us. We will continue to volunteer and give our time, talents and energy to this community. If you would like to be a part of our volunteering moving forward, or part of our fall "brainstorming for the future" session, please add your name and email below along with your capacity/availability.
