IRSC Open Educational Resources Course Adoption
In order to apply for a stipend from the Gladys Williams Wolf Endowed Teaching Chair in Communications for the 2016-2018 award years, please fill out the following form. Awards are given to faculty who have replaced traditional, costly textbooks with any combination of OER learned about in the professional development series offered in the Institute for Academic Excellence by Alexis Carlson. Priority for stipend awards will be given to faculty who have the biggest impact on student costs for textbooks. OER must be incorporated into the course for a minimum of three consecutive semesters. Faculty who are awarded stipends agree to participate in interviews, panel discussions, or other channels of promotion to share best practices with others. Faculty also agree to be included in a publicly accessible website listing IRSC OER faculty adopters.
