Hawaiian honey bees needs assessment
Aloha beekeepers!

I have had the great pleasure of getting to meet with some of you as I travel to different islands. But for those I have not yet met, my name is Dr. Chrissy Mogren, and I am the new pollinator ecologist at UH Manoa. I am establishing a new research and extension program that will specifically address the needs of beekeepers in Hawaii. My background is in honey bee health, nutrition, and toxicology, and it is my hope to integrate this scientific expertise to support Hawaii's beekeeping community.

I would like to take this opportunity to survey beekeepers throughout the state to identify topics of greatest concern to you and your operations, and determine where my research can best be applied. To generate this information, I would greatly appreciate your time in filling out this brief survey! If you have beekeeping friends who may not be registered through the state, please feel free to forward the link to this survey to them.

Stay up to date by visiting the pollinator extension website (still a work in progress, https://cms.ctahr.hawaii.edu/pollinators) and following us on Twitter (@UHbees).
