* Asterisk means this activity deals directly with items that relate to substance use found within our safer use kits. Please take care of yourself first & let us know if you have questions.

Cooking a dish or snack for our friends who live outside

Assisting us with transporting our bulk supplies from our supplier to our office (will need your own vehicle for this role)

Drop in day: making sandwiches, keeping the snacks stocked, taking clothing orders & helping folks find appropriate sizes they need from our donation room

Donation room: Help us sort through donations, organize, and pack up out of season items.

Kit Building*: We put together different harm reduction supply kits like safer sex kits, test strip kits, safer use kits, in person at our office in Cleveland.

Pop-up Outreach*: This is where we pop up on the street, sidewalk, or parking lot to distribute supplies and do rapid trainings.

Narcan Distributor: You can become a distributor and give away free narcan to your community. Training & supplies are all provided for free in bulk like narcan/naloxone, test strips, educational brochures.

Canvassing: We team up and walk the streets going business to business to ask them to carry narcan & test strips.

Social media: Creating ideas and/or content for social media like graphic designing, taking photos, and videos that are harm reduction related. This can also look like promoting our events on Instagram, Facebook, and asking other pages in Ohio to share with their networks.

PRIDE! Next up: Akron Pride in August

Harm Reduction 101: Assist with in-person or virtual education courses, this can be monitoring the chat virtually or setting up our table & helping distribute supplies. Normally is more than 1+ hours.

Fundraising: Help us by collecting supplies, assisting with fundraising programs, organizing donation drives and coordinating event planning.
