Investment Analyst for Business Angel
Thank you for considering applying to this role. As a reminder, you will be expected to assist an active Angel Investor.

Your responsibilities will include
• Supporting the Business Angel through the life cycle of our investments, including: sourcing, conducting due diligence, preparing and writing documents, executing the transaction and helping the companies grow to exiting them.
• Attending networking events that may be a source of pipeline;
• Conducting discrete research projects to support the development of new initiatives;
• Compiling and preparing reports on the overall performance of our investment portfolio;
• Taking initiative in spotting and responding to needs in the investment team.

What is critical for you to have:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree with a strong academic record preferably in a quantitative or social sciences field of study (ICT, mathematics, engineering, actuarial science, economics, computer science etc.)
• Some knowledge of financial analysis, investments and financial modelling in Excel
• Some knowledge of data analysis, data collection, data modelling and visualization
• Microsoft Office software knowledge, with PowerPoint presentation and Word
• English writing skills

Nice to have
• Having worked in consulting, venture capital, private equity, impact fund, financial advisory boutique, corporate finance or advisory at one of the big four
• Some knowledge of agriculture, renewable energy or water sectors in East Africa
• Some knowledge of a programming languages of any sort
