To be eligible for consideration, candidates must meet the following requirements:- Prior volunteer experience with AM Ontario- Active member of AM Ontario

The following roles are available for a 2 year term:
1) Treasurer
The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing maintaining and tracking the financial records for the Organization including:- Explore and recommend alternate structures and formal organization for the Group.- Authorize expenditures- Ensure business management, financial reporting and compliance in line with incorporation requirements;- Development of annual budget, approval and ongoing tracking;- Planning and execution of the Annual General Meeting jointly with the Chair;- Bank account administration oversight and co-signing authority;- Authority to delegate and oversee Financial administrative duties;- Financial administration for any funding as required;- Oversight and execution of financial transactions, disbursement of expenses, etc.- This position requires appropriate Financial designation and qualifications- Estimated commitment of 7 hours per week (avg) (time as required to administer incorporation and financial administration requirements)
2) Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for assisting the Treasurer to fulfill his/her responsibilities for the business management and financial oversight of The Corporation including: - Document the official record for all incorporation and financial related minutes;- Act as alternate for the Treasurer as required.
