GABC YP - Mentor Questionnaire
The German-American Business Council Young Professionals (GABC YP) Mentoring Program brings together young and experienced professionals in purposeful, mutually rewarding relationships. The mentoring relationship is built on mutual trust, respect and communication, and involves engagement of both parties in exchanging ideas, discussing progress and setting goals for further development. The role of a mentor is to encourage the personal and professional development of a mentee through the sharing of experience, expertise, and knowledge.

The GABC YP Mentorship Committee will evaluate your questionnaire and will propose a carefully chosen mentee to you. We work hard to get the best fit between you and your mentee, and we hope that you will give the proposed match a good chance. After the first session with your mentee, they will fill in a mentorship agreement and lay out their expectations and aims for your relationship. These items will be discussed in their second session with you and you will both sign the agreement. If for some reason, after a session or two, it just doesn't feel ideal, of course we will assist in proposing an alternate pairing.
