* Intake form information will be used for the sole purpose of implementing the NM OSE Autism Project Coaching sessions so that your district receives the best professional services possible.
The Autism Coaching project
is undergoing some changes. Please read carefully below.No-cost Professional Development is available to all schools, but no-cost one-on-one coaching will be offered to a smaller cohort of districts in a way that is more focused, deliberate, and cyclical. Because of limitations in the number of coaches available and the nature of the new coaching project, we will not be able to offer coaching to every interested school or district. There will be delays in starting the coaching project as we secure a few final details, but please indicate if you are interested in the form.
Schools who qualify for coaching will receive four coaching sessions per month for up to three teachers.
One of these monthly sessions will be in person and may include observations and modeling best practices.
These teachers will also receive two professional development sessions per month, chosen by their coach, to enhance their individual and group goals.
Finally, districts will receive support for hosting two parent communication nights to collaborate and communicate with parents of autistic students.
Region 9 will collect data to indicate the efficacy and effectiveness of the program.
