2019 Discovery Camp Counselor Application
The Discovery Camp Counselor summer volunteer program is an excellent opportunity for students 14 and older to work with our museum educators and help execute our summer camps. It is a high-energy environment and we're looking for candidates who are responsible, compassionate and eager to share their knowledge with the world. Museum of Discovery summer camps focus on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) topics through fun, dynamic and engaging sessions.

Discovery Camp Counselors will be selected from a pool of applicants who complete the application process. The deadline for receipt of the completed application packet is Friday, March 15. Those selected to move forward will be scheduled for an interview at the Museum of Discovery, and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Successful candidates will be notified of admittance into the program by Friday, May 3.

This application process provides candidates an opportunity to develop skills needed to obtain their first job.

Discovery Camp Counselors who fulfill at least one summer of volunteering will have additional opportunities to participate throughout the school year at our special events such as Tinkerfest and Messtival.
