The performance calendar at Greenbelt Arts Center runs from September through August. If there is a play, a musical, or a special event you are interested in directing/mounting at GAC during the 2018/2019 performance year, please complete this Google Forms document and submit. In addition, please send either a PDF (via email) or six hard copies of the script (via mail or hand delivery) for plays or musicals. Any purchased copies of scripts will be returned to you after the selection process is final.
When submitting, be sure to mark the box correctly: 1) for a GAC Resident production (RP); 2) a Guest Theater Organization (GTO); or 3) a Music/Other Event Guest Rental. Resident productions are wholly sponsored by Greenbelt Arts Center; GTO productions are sponsored by the guest organization and split net profits from ticket sales with GAC on a 50/50 basis; and renters pay an hourly rate for the use of GAC space.
The target date for these submissions is December 15, 2017. Submissions before and up to that date are welcome; submissions beyond that date will only receive consideration at the discretion of the selection committee.
Additionally, for resident productions, indicate whether members of the production team are already onboard, as that may enhance the chance that your submission will be selected.

This application should be submitted no later than December 15 in order to be considered for our upcoming season.
Guest Theater Organizations may use this application at any time to request space in currently unassigned date ranges (check the calendar on the website). GTOs are required to submit a minimum of two weeks, but may be allotted more time if approved by the Programs Committee, subject to availability.
