Adulting Quest cards have been designed to help with executive functioning, task sequencing, and just making adulting a little more fun. They can also be used to aid working memory and keep track of small, mundane tasks that are easy to forget, such as taking medication. In addition, they encourage autonomy and independence.
Each pack contains 112 quest cards. The tasks on each are split into categories; personal care, homecare, self-care, healthcare, car care, social, fresh air and admin. Some have the additional label, rejuvenate if they have the possibility of additional stress relief. Some quests are tasks that you might complete several times a day, so you will have up to 4. Each pack also comes with two blank cards, so you can add additional tasks or create replacements or duplicates.
There's no set way to use the cards, but one suggested way is to go through the pack at the start of the day and pick out the tasks or activities you need or would like to do that day. Lay the cards out on a table, attach them to a board, or keep them in a stack close to hand. As you do tasks or activities, you can remove the card from the stack and watch as the pile of completed tasks grows.
Individual cards are similar in size to regular playing cards.
