This course is ideal for 9 –16 year old children who are interested in exploring the possibilities of a Raspberry Pi as a computer. The course does not assume any prior knowledge of computers or programming. Students will learn how to interact with the hardware of the Pi, something that you normally wouldn’t do with your home computer or laptop. We will complete multiple projects using the Raspberry Pi:
● animations● detect motion● determine temperature● activate lights● make music● interact with Minecraft
This course is ideal for enabling kids to understand the relationship and interaction between computers, code, and physical outputs and work.
The class meets once a week on Wednesdays for 90 minutes from 17:00–18:30 for 8 weeks.
Wednesdays: October 24, 31, November 7, 14, 21, 28, December 5, 12
Class Fees are 300CHF and include all necessary software and hardware.
