WTCS Cert Prep Open Plan Application
If you are a Texas educator who is not participating in a hub but interested in preparing for certification on your own, you are eligible for the WTCS Cert Prep Open program. Highlights of the plan include:
  1. Free access to online and in-person certification prep resources.
  2. Eligibility for the Certification Incentive Program (CIP). 
  3. TX educators currently certified in subjects other than CS and Tech Apps or enrolled in an approved Educator Preparation Program are eligible. 
  • Individuals are required to apply for access to each resource and upon approval by WTCS will receive an access code for registration. 
  • To complete this application, educators will need to provide a copy of their Texas Educator Certificate or proof of enrollment in an Approved Texas Teacher Certification Program.
