Special Olympics MN athletes have been preparing for State Bowling Tournament for months, and it's finally time to show off their skills! Over the course of two days they will complete in their sport, hang out with family and friends, and win some shiny new medals!
The time you give to volunteer at the State Bowling Tournament will make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual disabilities - and your own.
Please select next to start the application process. Special Olympics will send you a confirmation email with additional information regarding the event. One form must be completed by everyone attending.
Volunteer Job Descriptions:No Experience Necessary and Special Olympics will provide training at the start of your selected shift.
Lane Monitors - Assist on the lanes with competition by making sure athletes are bowling in turn and cheering on the competition. You will write down the results following each game to turn to event headquarters. You do not need to know how to keep score.
Awards Assistance - Organize awards based on the results on the lanes.
Awards Announcer - Using a microphone you will announce the names and place of each division at the awards ceremony.
Delegation/Volunteer Check-in - Check in bowling delegations and assist with the check-in process of volunteers.
FANstop Merchandise Store - Assist with the sales of items in our Merchandise store. Keeping area organized and completing sales on IPads.
