BECOME AN AMBASSADOR: LYH Women in Business Ambassador Application
Do you love connecting and celebrating other women? Are you passionate about balancing work and life? 

We're looking for Ambassadors for our 2026 - 2027 season of LYH Women in Business and you might be a great fit! We'd love to invite you to apply to join our Ambassador Team!

LYH Women in Business is a community of women who are committed to community and connection, helping each other thrive in life and in business. We host Girl's Night outs and Heart events like our annual Holiday Party and Galentine's Day! We have connected with over 1000 local Women in Business and support women-owned venues.

What is involved with being an ambassador?
Our Ambassadors help set the tone for our events! We ask that you serve at at least 3 events / calendar year. Ambassadors should:

  • Attend our kick-off Ambassador Event

  • Attend and observe our September or November event (if you have not attended an event before)

  • Take on at least 1 volunteer task to help with administrative tasks and ideation, production and set up of each event you are serving at 

  • Help us promote our events with a unique discount code for anyone they invite!

  • Pass out at least 5 invite cards a month

  • Attend a monthly ambassador team meeting (mix of in-person / virtual meeting)

  • Arrive 1 hour early on event day to help set-up, and/or stay 30 minutes after each event to help us tear down

  • Welcome our ladies to each event, start conversations and help foster meaningful connections

  • Introduce yourself as an Ambassador at our events

  • Post a photo or recap from the event on social media

  • Introduction as Ambassadors at the Event


What does it mean to be a part of our Ambassador team?

  • Be the first to learn about our upcoming events calendar

  • Provide insight and ideas to our Women in Business Team

  • Develop leadership skills

  • Opportunity to serve on our Leadership Team in the future (all Leadership Team Members must serve as an Ambassador for at least 2 events for consideration onto the Leadership Team. Leadership Team members are voted in by the current Leadership Team.)

  • You don't have to be able to make it to or serve at each event, we'll select 2+ Ambassadors to serve at each of our events on rotation


Timeline:
  • Applications are open from August 14,2026 - August 24, 2026
  • Selection will take place August 26-28
  • Ambassador Meeting: Early September 2026
  • Commitment to Role: After September Event Participation
