To be award in recognition of outstanding service to the community
  1. The award shall be known as the "James McLardie Award", and is named after The late James (Jim) McLardie in recognition of his service to Lions and the Foundation’s Wellbeing programmes.
  2.  The recipient may be male or female.
  3.  Membership of a Lions, Lioness or Leo Club is not a prerequisite.
  4.  The amount of five hundred ($500), undesignated, is required as a single contribution to the Foundation to qualify for the award. This is to be paid as one sum.
  5.  An individual may be nominated to receive this award by the individual, by a Lions, Lioness or Leo Club, by a Lions District or Multiple District, by a community group, by a corporation or by a professional organisation Government or non-government.
  6.  All applications must be made on the official application form.
  7.  The nominated recipient, honoured as a James McLardie Award Recipient, will receive an appropriately inscribed wall plaque.
  8. The award will be forwarded through the Foundation Secretary.
