Team format:Registration is open to individual curlers and/or teams. For non-full team registrations, the club competition committee will form teams in an effort to create competitive balance. If you have one to three other curlers you would like to curl with, that information can be specified on the registration form, but team registration is not required. All skill-sets welcome. We're here to improve our games, meet people, and enjoy ourselves.
League format: Wednesday: Traditional round robin format with 2 points being awarded to the winner of a match, 1 point for ties, and 0 points for a loss. Playoffs will be a traditional faceoff to take place over the final week. 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4 etc. These matches will decide final league standings. Seeding will be determined first by league points won, then by head to head record, then by total ends won, and finally by total points accumulated (game points). If a tie occurs in the championship match, skip stones will be thrown to determine league champion.
Sunday: Round robin format will be used with 2 points being awarded to the winner of a match, 1 point for ties, and 0 points for a loss. After 1 round is completed (every team plays each team once), each week after will be a position round, where 1 plays 2, 3 plays 4 etc. Seeding will be determined first by league points, second by total ends won, and third by total points scored. The last week will be a playoff to determine final league standings, with seeding determined the same way as the position rounds. In the event of a tie in the playoff, skip stones will be thrown to determine the league champion.
