Do not nominate the same person in different categories. Please select the best category that represents your nominee(s). Multiple nominations for the same person, by the same person in different categories them will not be included or allowed. Self-nominations are not allowed. If self-nominations are found to be made by self-nomination of fake emails or fake accounts, the person(s) nominated will be automatically disqualified for any WICE awards for 2023.
Awards are given out during The Women in Cannabis Expo mixer from 5pm to 7pm. We encourage all nominees to be present at the mixer/award ceremony. All nominee(s) are notified that they have been nominated.
What if a nominee is nominated in different categories by different companies?
If a person or persons is nominated in different categories by different companies or people. WICE reserves the right to review the nominee's company and social media to determine which best category they should be in for the online voting.
What if there is only one nominee in a category?
If WICE receives only one nominee for one category during the time of online nomination periods. The person(s) nominated will be the automatic winner. Their name(s) will still be placed on the online voting form, but it will reflect that they are the winner and will be getting such award during the appropriate expo for 2023.
Eligibility: One winner per each category, per event based on highest online votes received and or panel selection. (See award schedule below).
Nominations Open: EAST Coast & WEST Coast WICE nominations are now open. Online nominations for WICE 2023 will be open from January 1, 2023, to August 1, 2023, 11:59pm PST.
Awards/Cocktail Mixer: Awards are given out during the cocktail mixer the day of WICE event from 5pm to 7pm. The award ceremony and cocktail mixer help conclude the expo for the day.
When will online voting start?
EAST Coast Online voting will open July 15, 2023 & will close on August 10, 2023, at 11:59pm PST.

What are the awards that WICE gives out?
WICE has 3 levels of awards that are given out during the network mixer.
Level 1: Crystal WICE Awards: The Crystal WICE awards are the top awards winners receive. They are awarded through online voting & panel voting.
Level 2: Plaque WICE Awards: The Plaque WICE awards are the mid-level awards. They are awarded through online voting & panel voting.
Level 3: Recognition WICE Awards: The Recognition WICE awards are custom made by the original award manufacture for Miss America Organization. Designed by the Founder & Owner of WICE, these awards are given out both individually and for those who have served on a WICE panel discussion.
Are there monetary awards, grants or scholarships?
Not currently, however this may be subject to change for 2023. WICE is seeking out other ways we can help support women/woman. We are hopeful to provide some type of monetary award in the future. WICE is working with several companies that want to provide scholarships or grant funding to Women/Woman owned businesses within the cannabis industry.
