8th CETA Symposium Talks at ITI Istanbul 2023
Thank you very much for your interest in leading a session at the 8th CETA Symposium held at ITI Istanbul 2023.

This two-day Teaching Awards Symposium aims to bring together tutors, assessors and moderators from centres worldwide to provide an opportunity to share experiences of delivering the Cambridge English Teaching Awards, primarily Delta, CELTA, and TKT.

The Symposium will provide a forum to share 'good practice' among course providers, discuss current issues and problems encountered in course delivery and to learn about new innovations in the field. It also provides a platform to 'voice' ideas and consider future directions. The Symposium is particularly important post pandemic when training courses are being conducted both face to face and online and decisions taken now will shape the future direction of the Cambridge Teaching Awards.

We are now accepting applications from Speakers. Use this form both to attend the event, and register as a CETA Speaker! All topics are welcome, but trending topics we are looking to include are:

Flipped Training, Blended and Online Training
CELTA Management and Course Design
TKT course design, delivery and training
CELTA TP criteria
Delta assessment criteria
The role of Assessors
Feedback delivery and Observation process
Freelancing for Trainers and Training beyond Cambridge
Diversity and Teacher Training
Focus of training: competence vs performance

Timeline for submissions: 30th April 2023
