Wicked Burn will only get better with YOUR help- Communal effort, baby! Work weekends give us time to prepare the land and get things ready for the burn.

You can expect to clear brush, do some raking, prep the parking area, improve roads, etc. You may use a weed whacker, loppers, a rake, or maybe even a chipper.

If you have equipment you can bring (i.e. rakes, trimmers, loppers) that is super helpful. If you have skillz to do these tasks that's awesome! If not, we're sure you might be able to pick up some sticks and be helpful!!

Please note: You do not need a ticket for Wicked Burn to come to a work weekend. That said you DO need to read both the event policies and the 2026 waiver. By coming you agree to follow these policies and be subject to this waiver. (Notable exception: The no re-entry policy only applies to the burn itself and NOT the work weekends.)
