Remember that before this form is considered for review, the Foundation must receive other documents, including:
I. TWO LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION: Letters of recommendation from persons of authority. Letters may be from school administrators, faculty, staff, community members, employers, personal friends, or clergymen who are familiar with applicant's ability, work habits, integrity, and potential. Letters may not come from family members. Letters must be submitted via email to email@example.com with the applicant's name in the Subject line. Letters must include a telephone contact for the sender to allow for verification.
II. RESUME OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Two-page maximum. List your academic and scholastic accomplishments, awards, honors, extra-curricular activities, community service, work experience and other significant achievements. Chronological order is preferred (i.e. Grade 12, Grade 11, etc.) Applicants with a Google email account are able to upload resume of accomplishments directly into the form. Applicants without a Google email account should email the resume of accomplishments to firstname.lastname@example.org with the applicant's name in the subject line.
*PLEASE NOTE: STUDENTS MAY APPLY FOR THE LUBBOCK-COOPER EDUCATION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP AND HANNAH GRACE VENABLE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP SIMULTANEOUSLY. THE SAME DOCUMENTS (LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION AND RESUME OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS) WILL BE USED FOR BOTH SCHOLARSHIPS.
Scholarship applications for the 2019-20 academic year must be received by the Foundation no later than Friday, February 22, 2019.
