The Parkland School Division Board of Trustees determines the school year calendar. In December 2019, the Board of Trustees shall formally approve the Academic Calendar for 2020-2021.
Draft school year calendars are shared with stakeholders with a request for feedback and response prior to the timeline for decision-making. If there are any revisions based on feedback, those are brought back to the Board and submitted for approval at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting in December. A previous Stakeholder Survey existed from December 2018 until November 2019. A second survey enables greater clarification for areas that received mixed responses.
