東西南北匯流——海上絲路與音樂
Soundings and Exchanges—Maritime Silk Road and Music


絲路，海上或陸上，都不只經商與貿易，還有文化的交流與融匯。而音樂，是認識地方文化的重要橋樑。是次音樂展現將為大家帶來中國絲竹與中亞／中東／土耳其樂器的精彩演出。除了可以欣賞中亞／中東／土耳其不同樂器的獨特聲音外，還有機會聆聽我們少聽過的中國民間地方曲子，如傳統的客家音樂開場曲《南進宮》，經泰國水手傳入上海、由當地民間藝人改編的江南絲竹曲子《暹羅曲》等等，讓大家細細品嚐中國音樂裡多元的面貌。兩邊樂手也會同台獻技，用各自熟悉的樂器實踐樂章的匯流，擦出音樂的火花。

Whether on sea or on land, the Silk Road is used not only for trade and the economy, but also cultural exchange and integration, for which music is an important bridge. This musical event will bring to you an exciting performance with Chinese Silk and Bamboo musical instruments alongside Central Asian/Middle Eastern/Turkish ones. The audience can look forward to unique sounds produced by the latter, as well as Chinese regional music that we rarely hear, such as the traditional Hakka opening song “Nanjingong”, and a Jiangnan silk and bamboo song “The Song from Siam”, which entered Shanghai through Thai sailors and was adapted by a local artist. These tunes will allow everyone to enjoy the many facets of Chinese music. In addition, both ensembles will share the stage and perform experimental music on their familiar instruments to bring to life “exchanges as practised here and now”.
