We cordially invite you to the Moving Humanities conference of 2024 (October 31st - November 1st), which offers a podium to graduate students from all disciplines in the humanities, and aims to promote cross-disciplinary collaborations. Proudly, the organising committee presents this year’s theme: “Resistance” - both in the subjects of research and within the humanities themselves.
Each day will contain a keynote speaker, four short talks, and a poster session. The first day shall also have a debate, and the second day shall have a panel discussion. Our keynote speaker for the first day is prof. dr. Antoon de Baets, emeritus professor of history, ethics, and human rights. Our keynote speaker for the second day is dr. Josias Tembo, who specializes in the critical philosophy of race, African philosophy, postcolonial and decolonial theories, and gender studies.
