(REGISTRATION CLOSED) Storytelling through Media
Weds, Nov 15 from 5:30-7:30pm in ATLS 104
Led by Mitchell Wolfe, MS Technology, Media and Society, CTD track

This hands on workshop will explore how media can be used to tell stories within different mediums such as photography, video, games, animation, and comics. These mediums use their unique aspects that separate them from each other and traditional storytelling avenues. All of these aspects can be harnessed to better tell stories unique to these visual mediums. The workshop will cover some of these aspects through a brief lecture and discussion combined with participants planning, sketching, and shooting a series of images that tell a particular story. Cameras will be avaialbe for use during the workshop, but if you have a camera, please bring it!

About me: Mitchell Wolfe is an ATLAS graduate school alumnus whose work explores how different media types interact within stories. His projects include video games, comics, animations, and photographic sets.
