In light of the recent news regarding the New World screwworm infestation in Big Pine Key, No Name Key, and detection of adult screwworm flies in several other neighboring areas in the Lower Keys, we are in need of volunteers to assist us in educating the community on this important public health issue.  Volunteers will go door-to-door to hang door knockers with information about screwworm detection and prevention, and speak with residents and visitors.
