This research study will investigate the incorporation of taphonomy into forensic anthropology case reports. Feedback from this research survey will be used to determine the extent of and specific aspects of taphonomy that are included in forensic anthropology case reports, and to determine similarities in case report formats across the discipline.
Your participation in this research is voluntary, and you have the right to decline participating in this survey or to leave the survey at any time. This survey is expected to take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, and all results are anonymous. Results are not recorded until the survey is submitted, and questions you do not wish to answer may be skipped.
Results of this research will be disseminated in publications and at future professional meetings. This research has been approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the Office of Human Research Ethics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (study # 22-1025).
