Welcome! Thank you for your interest in attending our Community Workshop on Data Centers.

Join Kentuckians for Energy Democracy (K4ED) on:

📅 Saturday, August 8
🕐 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
📍 Rowan County Public Library
Morehead, Kentucky

Across Kentucky, communities are increasingly being approached about hosting large data centers. These projects can have significant impacts on electricity demand, water use, local infrastructure, economic development, and utility costs. Before important decisions are made, community members deserve clear, unbiased information.

During this interactive workshop, you'll hear from representatives from K4ED and Mountain Association about:

• What data centers are and why they're coming to Kentucky
• How they can affect local communities
• Questions every community should consider before approving a project
• Ways residents can participate in local decision-making
• Practical actions you can take to stay informed and engaged

Our goal is not to tell communities what decision they should make. Our goal is to provide the information, resources, and tools people need to make informed local decisions that reflect their community's values and priorities.

The workshop will last approximately 2 hours, and light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Space is limited to 25 attendees, so registration helps us prepare enough seating and refreshments. Registration is appreciated but not required.

We look forward to seeing you!
