Organized by: ActionAid International, CESR, GI-ESCR, ICRICT, MENAFem Movement for Economic Development and Ecological Justice, Tax Justice Network, the Women’s Environment and Development Organization (WEDO), DAWN, FES-LAC, Tax and Education Alliance, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, the Tax and Gender Working Group of the Global Alliance for Tax Justice (GATJ), in partnership with IAFFE and hosted by Observatorio para la Equidad de las Mujeres, Universidad ICESI. 

Building on discussions held at the 33rd IAFFE conference in Amherst and previously in Rome,  as well as smaller strategy sessions early in 2026 among IAFFE members, feminist civil society and tax experts, including the Tax and Gender Working Group led by the Global Alliance for Tax Justice, this all-day pre-conference workshop will engage the IAFFE community in a strategic discussion on tax and gender equality (including connections to climate action), in light of the ongoing negotiations towards the UN Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation (UN FCITC). 

This event will be held in-person at Universidad ICESI. Coffee breaks and lunch will be served.
