Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) is an honors organization for accounting, finance, business analytics or digital technology students. BAP was founded in 1919, has over 300 chapters nation-wide, and is recognized and respected by the business community as a premier collegiate organization.
The Beta Eta chapter of BAP at SDSU (Beta Eta) was formed in 1960. Since its inception, Beta Eta has been awarded Superior Status at least 28 times, most recently earning the silver award in FY 23-24. The award is given to select chapters that demonstrate outstanding performance in chapter operations, which include professional meetings, seminars, banquets and social activities with professionals. You'll probably run into some former BAP members when you talk to professionals in your field!
At SDSU's BAP chapter (Beta Eta chapter), we're dedicated to our three pillars: community, careers, and professionalism. These pillars drive our organization and play a role in everything we do. At BAP, we have a strong "pay it forward" tradition that will give you the support to land your full time offer and make lifelong friends along the way.
