This is the application form to join a 10-week psychoeducation and support group led by Dr. Patty Gently through Bright Insight Support Network. Designed for 2e and other gifted neurodivergent adults, the group focuses on exploring and refining one’s sense of identity, particularly in midlife and other times of transition. The framework will follow Dr. Gently's Identity Development (GEAR) Theory.
Participants will engage with topics such as the intersection of trauma and giftedness, creativity, career transitions, Dąbrowski's Theory of Positive Disintegration, Bronfenbrenner's Bioecological Systems Theory, Erikson's Theory of Psychosocial Development, and more.
Each session will feature:
- A weekly psychoeducational presentation (with slides),
- An engaging activity to apply the concepts, and
- A roundtable discussion to deepen understanding and connection.
If you’re interested in participating, please complete the form. All responses will be kept confidential. If you have questions, feel free to email Patty at brightinsightadvocate@gmail.com for more information!
