Each year, CASA of Forsyth County, Inc. accepts nominations from the Forsyth County community for the Annual Light of Hope Award Ceremony.
A Light of Hope Award is bestowed upon an individual or business that gives their time, energy, knowledge and resources for the betterment of children. This person can either be a volunteer, professional, or business. Previous honorees have included teachers, social workers, faith-based volunteers, coaches, School Resource Officers, nurses, and local businesses committed to serving children in our community. Nominations may be submitted by anyone with firsthand knowledge of the nominee's outstanding contributions.
The recipients of the Light of Hope Award will be selected by an anonymous committee comprising of a cross-section of individuals from our community. Nominations are presented to this committee in redacted form.
The deadline to submit your nomination is November 30, 2025. The honorees will be notified by December 31, 2025, and formally honored at the Light of Hope Ceremony on February 5, 2026, at Browns Bridge Church.
