QCE 2017 will take place from Saturday, July 8th to Sunday, July 9th, 2017 at SOMArts Cultural Center, 934 Brannan St, San Francisco, CA 94103, in San Francisco’s Design District.
APPLICATION DUE DATESExhibitor and programming applications are now open for the Queer Comics Expo (QCE). Early deadline applications were due May 7th and heard back May 15th, 2017. Applications are now reviewed and notified on a rolling basis until space fills up.Application submissions are due no later than 11:59pm PST on Sunday, May 31st, 2017.
EXHIBITING We are increasing exhibitor capacity this year to allow for more awesome creators!The Queer Comics Expo is a curated event, but priority is given based on relevance to the expo’s mission to "celebrate queer culture and promote diverse queer representation in visual stories" and the application’s submission date.
A full table is a minimum of 6' long and comes with 2 chairs and 2 badges up to 2 additional chairs and badges may be requested at no cost. A half table is a minimum of 3' long and comes with 1 chair and 1 badge up to 1 additional chair and badge may be requested at no cost.
A full or half table for exhibitors will be available for one day or the full weekend at the following rates:Full table for weekend $70Half table for weekend $40Full table for one day $45

PROGRAMMING We are doubling programming capacity this year to allow for more great programming!Programming at the Queer Comics Expo explores everything from publishing and comics in the classroom to trans* and body-positive representation to the scholarly study of boys love manga and documentary film screenings and more. Both all ages and adult only programming are acceptable. Programming includes panels, workshops, screenings and other 45 minute programming ideas.
