Electric Vehicle uptake in Rural Highlands
The Highland Council is committed to supporting the Scottish Government in achieving its ambition to phase-out the need for new petrol and diesel vehicles in Scotland by 2032.  To achieve this aim, The Highland Council, alongside partners including HITRANS and the Energy Saving Trust, are working together to develop a new electric vehicle (EV) strategy for Highland, which takes into account the size, scale and remote-rural nature of the region.

By completing this survey, you will be helping  us to better understand what needs to be done to support the region’s transition to a low carbon transport future.  Your opinions matter, as they reflect Highland community needs.  The survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete.
