Community Input - EVSC's ESSER III Funding
The federal government is providing one-time funds to help school districts accelerate student learning as well as recuperate needs like extra expenses faced during the pandemic. The funds are called Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds. These are one-time federal funds that will be provided to K12 districts across the nation. There are guidelines on allowable uses and the funding is not accessible beyond September of 2024. We need to be careful not to create a funding cliff with hiring or resources that cannot be sustainable beyond three years. To see a complete list of allowable uses for funding, click here:
