Information on Costs
The Hestaland Riding & Writing Tour includes six riding days (2-3 hours/day, with optional additional ride or longer riding excursions); six 2-hour writing workshops plus individual meeting with instructor; domestic travel to and from Hestaland; all meals and accommodations at the Hestaland Guesthouse; plus excursions to Borgarnes and the nearby Krauma hot spring spa. 

2025 rates coming soon. 

Not included: your airfare to Reykjavik, accommodations and meals in Reykjavik, trip insurance, alcohol.

A 50% deposit is required to hold your spot. 

Hestaland cancellation policy: For cancellations made fewer than 120 days before the tour start date, Hestaland will retain a $500 booking fee. We will attempt to fill your spot, and if we are successful, we will refund 50% of what you have paid at the time.
