BSA Matter & Opinion: Existing Buildings--Building the Will (AEC-adjacent professionals)
Thank you from the Boston Society for Architecture (BSA) for taking this eight-question survey! If you have any questions, please contact Caitlin Hart, BSA Senior Program Manager, at chart@architects.org.

The BSA is hosting a mini-series for Spring/Summer 2021 based on the belief that Boston cannot meet its ambitious climate goals without utilizing its greatest built and cultural assets: existing buildings. The Matter & Opinion: Existing Buildings series will begin by addressing the first hurdle to embracing existing buildings as climate solutions: building the will.

This survey is a key part of that. With these questions and your answers, we hope to identify why owners/developers choose to invest in existing buildings (or not); what architects find fulfilling about reuse; and what benefits existing buildings offer (as well as what hurdles they present).

Do you have colleagues or collaborators that have valuable insight to share? Pass the survey along!
