Hi! My name is Ingu (the big head up there), I am the director of the new College & Young Adult Ministry at Pathway. If you are on this form, I assume you are considering joining this ministry...I implore you to give it a try!
I began planning for this ministry last year when I was convicted of the need for a ministry of this specific demographic at Pathway. During the seasons when I graduated high school and college, I distinctly remember feeling like I lacked a place in my home church. It's quite awkward being a young adult in church; I was no longer of the age of "youth" students, but I felt like I did not belong with the other adults of the church. I was eager to learn, grow, and be discipled...but this space wasn't available at the time.
God reminded me of these growing pains, and out of what I learned (seven years of college ministry experience) I hope to foster a ministry that both college & young adults can call home. Where we connect deeply, grow in our Christlikeness, and serve our community together. May God be glorified in all this.
