Dublin 18 Is....Pitch Your Project
Dublin 18 Is......invites ideas for community-led projects that grow local cultural life and invites you to help decide how to allocate funding to support them. Funding up to the value of €5,000 is available for cultural projects that directly benefit you, your neighbours, friends and family in Ballyedmonduff, Ballyogan, Cabinteely, Carrickmines, Foxrock, Kilternan, Sandyford, Stepaside and Ticknock. The funding is at two levels - Try It Out (for ideas up to €300 that you want to explore and test) and Ready To Go (for projects up to €600 that you are ready to start). It is important you ask only for what you reasonably need and anything from €1 to €300 is welcome for Try It Out and €301 to €600 for Ready To Go

Below are the key questions that will help you get across your idea for Dublin 18 Is....They are designed to help you develop your idea and once you have filled out the form we will email you the responses and you will be able to continue to edit them giving you something to work on towards the Pitch Your Project event on 23rd November at 2-30-5pm in Samuel Beckett Civic Campus. Each group will have 5 mins each to pitch their project.

What do you want to do? *
This can be anything that supports local cultural life. For example you might want to encourage walking or gardening or cooking, or you might want to help make more dance, music, craft or other art forms flourish, or you might need a piece of equipment to make the creative things to do more possible, or you want to improve mental and physical health and believe creative activities can help, or you might want to encourage learning or conversation, or you want to be inspired by great artists......there is no limit to your imagination
Your answer
How will it benefit you and your community? *
So why does this matter to you and your community and why is it important now? How do you think it will make a difference in people's lives
Your answer
What will you spend the money on? *
This is very much a back of an envelop job. Think about what you will spend your money on (for example expenses, gear, getting the message out, food, renting a space) and then for now estimate the costs. As your idea becomes clearer you can reassess any costs to make sure you are asking for what you reasonably need.
