In this session, Rodrigo Antunes Lima will present the IMPROVA project. IMPROVA is a Horizon Europe project which develops a digital and classroom-based mental health programme supporting adolescent mental health in high schools across Europe and beyond. The programme is currently being trialed in schools in Spain, France, Germany and Romania. More info https://www.improva-project.eu/ 

Pim Cuijpers is Professor emeritus of Clinical Psychology and director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Research and Dissemination of Psychological Interventions at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He is
specialised in conducting randomised controlled trials and meta-analyses on prevention and psychological treatments of common mental disorders across the life span. He has published more than 1,300 peer-reviewed
papers, chapters, reports and professional publications, including about 1,100 papers in international peer-reviewed scientific journals. Pim Cuijpers is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology and recently received the 2024 APA Award for Distinguished Professional Contributions to Applied Research.

Rodrigo Lima, Ph.D., is a researcher at Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu in Spain and a member of the Centre for Biomedical Network Research on Mental Health (CIBERSAM). He serves as the scientific coordinator of IMPROVA and is the Principal investigator of ePro-Schools, an EU funded project by the ERA4Health Programme (GA 101095426), which also aims to promote health and wellbeing among youth through an eHealth intervention program.
