Leading Public Prayer (Lay Servant Ministries)
"Praying in public can be daunting, but prayer is something one learns. This course on praying in public will help the participant grow in confidence and skill in public prayer and enrich their personal prayer life. 

Pastor K and the lay servant team of Wisconsin Rapids United Methodist Church will lead for two Saturdays, May 2 & May 16 @ 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Prerequisite: Lay Servant Basic Class). Lunch will be provided. 

Please sign up by Monday, April 20. Then, you will receive more information about the class to prepare the first meeting.

Text Book: "Shaping the Prayers of the People: The Art of Intercession" by Samuel Wells and Abigail Kocher ($15.00, available at Cokesbury.com)

Costs: Free Will Offering to support the Lay Servant Ministries of the Wisconsin Rapids UMC and to cover the brief lunch.
