First Year Arts Board Application 2017-2018
Members of the First Year Arts Board (FAB) collaborate with the Director of First Year Arts Initiatives to plan and put on large- and small-scale arts events for freshmen. Selected from among the class of 2021, the FAB meets several times throughout the year and their duties include, among others, staffing the Freshman Arts Room (in the basement of Holworthy) weekly. No experience is necessary!

FAB meets weekly from 4-6 pm on bi-weekly Mondays. Additional time commitments include staffing the Arts Room open hours on bi-monthly Monday evenings, attendance at arts events (including set-up and clean-up), and occasional trips to local arts organizations.

- Applicants must be available from 4-6 on Monday afternoons.
- Interest in making, looking at, and/or talking about art (of any kind!).
- Curiosity about, or expertise in, event planning and logistics.
- Ideal applicants will be highly responsible, strong communicators/teachers, and interested in getting to know their fellow freshmen.
