ABOUT LADIES ROCK CAMP BOSTON
Ladies Rock Camp Boston (LRCB) is an intensive 3-day-weekend program that is redefining the term lady by creating an environment that is the antithesis of what we have been told it means to behave as one. Find your inner rock god/goddess by fighting the status quo and becoming part of a rock n roll band of revolutionaries and supporting GRCB’s year round youth programming!! Programming for LRCB is similar to what girls do during our summer program: learn an instrument, form a band, write a song, and perform your song live - in just three days!

In addition, you will have the opportunity to attend a variety of workshops with topics related to being a rocker including songwriting, self-defense, silk-screening, women in rock history, and more!

LRCB programmatic function is to generate funds and awareness for the Girls Rock Campaign Boston (GRCB), as well as reach out to women who support our mission. All proceeds from LRCB go directly to GRCB. This year we are hoping to raise $30,000 through LRCB to help GRCB provide scholarships for all girls who need assistance and continue on as a sustainable organization!

WHO MAY APPLY FOR LADIES ROCK CAMP BOSTON
Any woman aged 21 and over may apply. NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. You don’t even have to bring your own instrument, but feel free if you like. While our programming is guided by the experiences of girls and women, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment that supports and welcomes a wide range of marginalized gender identities and expressions. We welcome women, trans, and gender nonconforming participants.
