Flatlander Farm Whole Goat Sign-Up Form
After many customer requests we are pleased to begin taking orders for whole goats this season.

Whole goat will be sold by hanging weight. This will allow us to save a few steps and save time and we are happy to pass the savings on to our customers. Our goat retails between $13-$22 a pound at the farmers market. When you commit to purchasing a whole goat you will pay $11 a pound hanging weight. Much less than the average $17 a pound average that you will find in our retail cuts.

Here is how it works. An average goat weights around 75 pounds at processing time. That goat will have a hanging weight of 35 pounds. You will receive approximately 23-30 pounds of meat based on how you choose to have it cut and decide to include on the cut sheet. The total would then be 35x$11 which is $385. If the hanging weight is less you will pay less and receive less. If it hanging weight is more you pay more and receive more.

You will get complete control over what cuts you will receive. A cutting sheet will be provided for you and will need to be filled out before the processing date which has yet to be determined. (We usually process in Dec. or Jan.)

In order to reserve your whole goat a $100 deposit will be required at sign up.
