Biopsy to Closure:  Surgical Oncologic Techniques for General Practice 
Course Details: Throughout the course, participants will review biopsy techniques, discuss appropriate surgical margins (is it 1, 2, or 3 cm?), and gain a deeper understanding of what defines an appropriate fascial plane. You will have multiple opportunities to perform mass removals with closures using primary apposition as well as local transposition flaps.The course will also include digit amputation, forelimb amputation, and mid-femoral hindlimb amputation procedures. More than just an oncology-focused lab, this is an excellent opportunity to strengthen and refine your surgical skills under the guidance of a Board-Certified Surgeon, Dr. Sara Aryes.This course is open to all experience levels.
